Tina has been remarkably amenable to traveling on our own and has felt safe. There hasn't been even a hint of trouble. The current climate between Israel, Egypt and Jordon is good. Obviously, being near Iran, Syria or Lebanon would be bad. :)

Day 35 - Dead Sea -> Eilat
Today we've moved down to the souther tip of Israel, Eilat. This will be our base over the next six days as we travel to Petra (Jordon) and Nuweiba (Egypt). I'm not allowed to take my rental car into these areas, so I had to arrange for transport to these two sites.
